The Govt. of Maharashatra in 2001 has passed an ordinance mentioning that the private coaching classes should pull down the shutters and created havoc. At that, time Mr. Sunil Runwal gathered all the directors of coaching classes and established a state level organisation named ‘Professional Teachers Organisation (PTA)’. Mr. Thakur was the first president of the organisation and Mr. Sunil Runwal was working as organiser.. Mr. Sunil Runwal pleaded the side of the PTA to the minister Hon. Mr. Ramkrishna More. Then followed the case with ministers like Hon. Mr. Vasant Purke, Hon. Mr. Radhakrishna Patil and Hon. Mr. Balasaheb Thorat etc. After long fight he successed in victory and earn reputation for coaching classes profession. To-day approximately there are 85,000 coaching classes in Maharashatra and 1,25,000/- teachers working with them. |
